especially since she was such an unexpected and significant support for me when I first went through chemo. I don't participate in the Facebook group that someone set up, but occasionally see posts in my feed because I am friends with many in the group. That was how I found out she was in rehab (I had no idea) - so I was able to send a card, but I don't know if she received it before she passed :-( . That just makes me feel terrible, and I keep thinking about how she was always so attentive to everyone else.

In many ways, she represented the true heart of this community.

We've lost way too many, but losing Sheila really HURTS - all the more so because we didn't even know she was ill.
