Fun things you have to look forward to in June! Take pics!!

It's been a very busy month for me. In good ways. It started with Dave's parents 65th wedding anniversary party May 5. Then so many other get togethers. Seems I go out with someone in a daily basis. Was my birthday and still am celebrating, another friend took me out today. Been lots of fun. Lots of lunches, several trips to casinos, got together with friends in from Florida etc. Very busy!!

In addition we're upgrading the house. Had our fireplace torn out and replaced with a new one, still not completed yet... they ordered one wrong thing. And next week all new windows going in the front room too. Eight of them. Got lots more projects I need to do but need to finish one thing at a time. Again, busy busy.

My eyes have somewhat improved the last few weeks. That's wonderful and incredible! They are still not normal, but I came a Long way from where I was last July. For anyone who didn't know, I've been having extreme inflammation issues and swollen orbits on my eyes. I've been through the ringer with all sorts of tests, all sorts of doctors and specialists. And had a major delicate surgery to biopsy my lacrimal gland and check things out behind the eye. They found nothing, no cancer. But don't know what the cause of the inflammation is. I basically laid in bed for months but now I can live like a normal person, though they still fluctuate better and worse on days. Sorry this is so long. But good news I feel like after a year I am seeing some improvement. Don't know why though.

And...The cats are all doing really good! Even our three seventeen year olds. We lost Buffy in January due to mouth cancer and I haven't needed to take anyone in since "knock on wood". Seems like a record. We only have 10 cats now.

We do feed all the wildlife and we have many visitors daily. Our cat food bills are the same as when we had 30 cats cause we put out a lot for them (raccoons, possum, skunk) If they went to the mink farm 2 doors away, he puts food in traps and kills what goes in including cats. I'd rather they eat here and be safe. Soon they'll bring their babies around, usually June/July sometime.

Nice to hear how everyone is doing. I hope everyone continues to feel well, and things get better for those that don't. And may all your fur babies stay well too!

Here's a pic of our neighborhood friends. ☺️ Also we have a few stray cats coming. They eat too and all wildlife and them get along fine. But my days of bringing in everything I see has ended. I'm getting older. Problem is when you feed you attract things. 😟 At least they are fed well here.
