I had my doctor's appointment last week and hoped the cast would come off, but no such luck - three more weeks. (Well, two more, as of today.)

I tried to be pretty philosophical about it the first 5-1/2 weeks, but for some reason, hearing that last week was particularly hard to take.

Trying to do everything one-handed (and LEFT-handed, at that) is getting old fast. (Of course, Kira makes a point of reminding me that cat-petting works just as well with a left hand as with a right!)
