No, the put anti nausea meds via the iv. Fortunately for the first treatment, nausea was not an issue......hope that proves to be throughout!!! I consider this chemo to be pretty barbaric, killing many normal cells and tissues to get at the cancer. It seems this is 2019, that there could be a more high tech effective and humane means to get this done!!! I am sorry that your husband had to endure this. Thank you for your concern.
