Sara turned 15 in July, and I recently got word that one of her littermates just died unexpectedly of kidney disease. Apparently she is one of only two remaining in her litter.

The hip dysplasia she was diagnosed with when she was a few years old appears to be acting up. I'm bringing her in to have it looked at Tuesday morning. Hard to know what to do with cats - it's not like I can keep her from jumping up and down from things. I've put some thick foam yoga pads on the floor by my bed to soften her landings there, but I can't yoga pad the entire house!

We'll see what the vet says on Tuesday.
