Sara is still going in for her chiropractic sessions every few weeks. She continues to do pretty well - still able to jump up and down off of things without falling back. I have thick (~1/2") foam mats on the floor in most of her "landing zones" that I am aware of so that at least she's not coming down on a hard floor (my house is not carpeted). And she still plays with Kira, which is very important. Of course, there's not as much "chase each other from one end of the house to the other" as there used to be, but - as the chiro put it - she's "engaged". They will do a little chase and tackle on the bed, or lay in wait and jump out when the other one goes by - that sort of thing. Always makes me smile. She has her semi-annual geriatric exam coming up in about a week and a half. I know he's going to comment on her teeth, but I just cannot get her to let me brush them. And in such a tiny mouth, if she's actively uncooperative, it seems like an impossible task. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to brace myself for my scolding. Hopefully she won't actually need to have them cleaned again for a while. |
