We've been there. We are there soon. I know how hard it is to lose so many so quickly. Happened here a lot. We lost Red not long ago and Zfuzzy not long before and Buffy has oral cancer but is hanging i there. We take each day as it comes.
You've done so well by your baby, 17 is a good life. Still it's hard. And unfortunately when you have senior kitties, it's a reality we may have to deal with again and again. We too have 11...down from 30. And most are older..,three are nearing 17. Then several in their teens. So like I said we're quite similar in our situations. Sending many hugs to you. May the peace of knowing you provided a home full of love for many years for your babies help ease your pain. Take care.
until now Ihave none. My last baby left me 6 weeks after my husband died - I am positive it was all the stress and extra people coming and going that put her over the edge - she was 17 and I had her from 4 days old. I would love to get an older cat but sadly Mr Darick won't allow it ((( hugs)))Cats are like Potato Chips - you can't have just one
Just had surgery under general anesthesia today. Guess my brain isn't fully functioning yet. Don't want to take away from Malinda's post, so more on that later.
