Once the nerve block wore off, the wrap on my arm has been REALLY uncomfortable, which is super distracting. So my apologies for not posting.

But it comes off tomorrow, and I believe I'll be getting a splint in its place. Hopefully it will be more comfortable, and hopefully I'll soon be able to start working on getting some use of my arm and hand again!

Sorry you've been feeling so lousy. You've had more than your fair share lately.

The wrap has been off a couple of days, replaced with a carpal tunnel type brace. So now I start the stretching and the exercises, and THAT hurts! But it's a necessary part of getting through this, and I'm committed to following all the exercises I'm supposed to do so that I can get back to normal as soon as possible.

(I just typed this two-handed, and yes, I'm already feeling it!

The worse would be the surgery. That’s the scary part. Now its recovery and should get better and better. By Christmas you should be feeling pretty good hopefully.😁

the surgery only really puts you out for a few days or so (with respect to pain levels) but the recovery will span weeks.

But as you say, hopefully by Christmas I'll be well on my way to "back to normal"!

Too many people do not do this part and wonder why they are unable to regain their ability to do. Yes it is painful and NOT enjoyable but you will reap the benefits!! Keep up the hard work and determination!!!! Also your spirit is admirable!!!! I have beem thrgough this with my disease and some serious back fusions!!!!! Take care and be good to yourself!!!!!

you are getting the wrap off and I truly hope that the splint will be more comfortable and you will able to start some physio excercises. Please keep us up to date
