Today we are overcast, we had wet streets this morning....forecasters say it will be this way through the week....

humid here in Ohio! It's been in the 90's (F) and dry in my area. There has been rain all around me but always fizzles out here. I've been doing a lot of watering of my flowers, garden and raised bed tomato plants.

I just noticed some sort of critter started burrowing under my enclosed patio yesterday. The cats won't tell me what it is but I know they have seen it

. At first I thought they were just watching the chipmunk races along the fence line, but then I saw the damage after the critter had left. I'm hoping it's not a skunk but fear it is, since I have seen one traveling around the pool before!

Hope it is not a skunk....we are cool in the 60s here...fog and wet streets in the mornings...nm

sister's fiance came over with a camera/probe thingy and couldn't see any eyes in there. He also didn't smell any skunk odor, which he says would have rubbed off on the wood. So that's good! I filled in the hole with a rock and dirt and put a cement block on top. Hopefully whatever is was will move on. Of course, the kitties still won't tell me what it was!!

Raccoons perhaps? They would not have the smell but can be quite destructive...nm

Cold and sunny. Last week was wet and stormy. There was also snow on the surrounding mountains but this week is glorious

foggy mornings, some clearing and then foggy evenings, but hey, can't complain, at least we are not sweltering in a heat wave...I am perfectly happy with temperatures in the 60s (fahrenheit). So are the girlz...
