 Previous MessageI am making the new Ts froma 800mW APRS SW defined radio . all it needs is a seril command for the freq it needs In Hex and bada bing instant TX! I am feeding it the data from a Stamp . so its all SW defined . its a step in betwen a HT based ammo box and a LP squakbox 800 Mils is not that shabby ! on a good ANT . so I figured it will be great here In iowa .. as its F L A T here .. cost is 170 or so In parts but its no bigger then a 2" PVC pipe thats 10" long whats cool is thata we are going to use a swithing BNC jack that when you put a ant on it then turns on .. so its a seald unit also I am putting a Cap bypass and choke in a bias t system to alow us to back feed DC to charg it with tath same BNC .. simple and good to go ...
