I just wanted to say you need to boil distilled water to make it sterile.... Not to scare you, but PA and Cepacia are known to grow in distilled water. Distilled water has the minerals removed, but is NOT STERILE. You must boil it for five minutes (I do 10 minutes) to be sterlie. Let it cool and use it immediately.

If you have an understanding doc or know a doc who will give you the script, using sterile water for injection is an easy way to go. I switched to this when the boilng water was taking too long....I get the 10 mL vial and use half. You can refrigerate it and use it within 12 hours or chunk it and open a new one with each gsh neb.
