I have respect for both sides. The flu is terrible for a person with CF; it does hurt their lungs more than a regular person. On the other hand, it's a crap shoot as to whether they pick the right strain (if they don't, you'll get sick anyway). And sometimes (rarely; the scientists say never but that is not true), you will get sick from the vaccine.
