Hi, Kim! Below are just my opinions, and I am just a mom, so take them with a grain of salt! Some folks who have done both tell me that GSH does a better job than Pulmozyme at thinning secretions, and the GSH is also anti-inflammatory, whereas there is some dispute whether DNase increases elastase levels or markers of inflammation. I think everyone should be doing hypertonic saline, either at the same time as their GSH, or in addition to it. As I mentioned in my post to Salli, everyone has their own individual tolerance level for hypertonicity, and you kinds have to experiment to figure out what works best. About Tobi versus Aztreonam, there are some abstract summaries on the wlgroup2 in the archives that looks at both of those. Do a search on aztreonam or AZLI and see what you can learn there. HTH!
