I had never thought even once about Symphonie Fantastique (and considering it's one of my favourite pieces of classical, I'm even rather surprised), considering the making and the story of Pet Sounds - they are indeed two quite different creations in terms of "feel", but concerning their history you make a really convincing case! Well done.
