2. According to the liners notes of the deluxe edition, Sabbath weren't too fond of "Evil Woman". For some reason, the British market supposedly had a tendency to record songs that were already a hit in the US, but wanted to record a different version for who knows why. From what I gather, the record companies had no idea what to do with Black Sabbath at the time, giving them cover songs that the band didn't want to do and listeners probably didn't want to buy or hear. It wasn't until the debut became a success that the suits started thinking "okay, maybe these guys are on to something."
