I really can't disagree more! Granted, especially at the beginning of the band's career, he was the weakest vocalist. But listen to his lead vocals on "Sunflower"and other tracks from those sessions like "Celebrate the News" and "Lady", as someone else said. He had really developed a really fine voice by then. Of couse, just like Brian, he managed to shred that voice with cocaine. "POB" falls just short of classic for me because of that - those strained, hoarse lead vocals.
