It’s such a unique hard rock album that transcend it’s genre. This album synthesise kick arse hard rock riffs that you could headbang to ala AC/DC and combined it with multilayered intricate subtle guitar playing with marvellous interplay from two guitarist reminiscence post punk jangly music aka Johnny Marr, The Edge, Robbie Buck, Early era Robert Smith (note this album is prior to all those groups) and combined it with a punk spirit of Peter Garrett with it’s unique unconventional voice and aggressive politically inspired vocals There isn’t another hard rock album like this (probably the closest link is Television Marquee Moon in terms of sophisticated guitar interplay but Head Injuries combined that with hard rock riffs) Back in the borderline and No reaction and is it now? Are all Kickarse hard jangle rock/pop masterpiece If you ever thought that The Smith’s are a bit too wussy and that Johnny Marr was too ideological in the anti-guitar hero but still enjoyed his guitar playing. It is an essential album
