Actually, I'm looking through your guide and I wondered if you created that list with having in mind an unwilling listener not eager to part with their time and money. Since you tend to advocate a band's best "accessible" album, whereas I personally would tend to prefer a band's first "good album".

Because when I was thinking about the order of becoming acquainted with an artist earlier, I was considering my fantasy of how, e.g., I would have loved following the development of the Beatles in real time rather than in retrospect, or e.g. how I recently for the first time actually listened to the first half a dozen Rolling Stones albums and started to really appreciate their development.

But maybe this is just a difference in our personal taste. I noticed that in general you rate "ambitious" albums higher than I would and you tend to rate "slighter" albums with maybe more folksy or poppy music lower than I would. /shrug
