So I’ve been trying to figure out some of the lyrics for Peak Hour, specifically the first rhyme “I see it all through my window it seems/never failing like millions of ????”
Almost all lyrics sites online claim it is millions of BEES, but there’s no way that’s what he says (although it kinda sound like that). I saw at least one site that say it’s EELS....but no way. One site says DREAMS, which would be a decent lyric (plus it rhymes), but it really doesn’t sound like he’s saying that.

Listening to it enough times (studio and live versions), I’m convinced the word begins with F, so I came to the conclusion that the lyric is “millions of feebs.” Feeb is slang for “feeble-minded person.”

Hopefully one of the various reissues provided official lyrics but I doubt it. And who knows if they’d be correct anyway.
