I do agree the sampling in-flight phone calls is bad taste.

However the rest of the album is instrumental music so while it may have some objective emotional meaning it has no objective literal meaning.

Benefits of instrumental music in its abstract manner is you can project any literal meaning you want on the work based on your own personality irrespective to what the composer intended (I genuinely don't believe in programmatic music even within classical music)
