If I say, we had another wild week of weather, I feel like a broken record. We had a cools start to the week. On Thursday, the temps were in the 70's, quite high for this time of the year. Overnight a cold front came through, and things changed. We had a storm that came in three stages. First, starting in the wee hours of Friday, the rain came down in buckets. We had almost four inches of rain, and so many places were standing in water. Once the rain stopped, the severe weather started. We were under a watch, but nothing happened to us, but several places suffered quite a bit of damage. There were tornadoes here and there. After the sever weather passed around 1:00, the wind started, and it roared until after dark. We didn't lose anything, but there are a lot of trees down because the ground was so wet. Several were just completely un-rooted. We lost a couple of limbs, but we didn't lose power or have any issues. A friend was without power for 30 hours, and some will not be back on for several days.
Other than that, our week was fairly normal with our usual activities. We did get some more cleaning done, but not as much as we need to.
We were supposed to go to Paducah and meet with our financial adviser and meet my ds there. We cancelled that as the weather was just too bad. I am glad we did as Paducah had it worse than we did.
