I thought that I would enjoy another in the series after that, but really didn't. I don't remember which one of the other autobiographical books it was, though...there were maybe 6?
She also wrote some novels, and more than 10 nature and history books.
I hope that you enjoy it.
How cool that you will have the DVD! That's opened a new world for me. I used to almost always listen to music, but never watch it. Well, I found a concert with the San Francisco Philharmonic, I believe it is, on T.V. and taped it. Watching it has really added a new dimension to it, I think. Enjoy your DVD!
I'm glad that you are happy with your rearranging of your bedroom. I find it very satisfying when I move things around and it works. It sounds like Charlie will enjoy it, too.
When the children were growing up, we knew a man who delivered Entenmanns in a truck. Now and then he would give us a big boxful of their pastries. It broke the kids of too many treats. When you tell them that they won't stay good forever, have some, and they groan and say, "Do we have to?" you've converted them! We honestly couldn't eat them all when he left them for us, but they were free, and a surprise each time, so I didn't complain, either. What type of donuts? Maybe you can make them into donut French toast by cutting them in half, like a bagel, and putting them in the French toast mixture. :-) Slicing the other way and toasting to eat with jam? Some people use donuts as hamburger buns...I can't even think about that. Enjoy!
We had a lovely day, too. It will probably be the nicest for a while. It was 78 degrees, blue skies, and sunshine, and glorious scents of pine, fir, etc. I opened the windows to bring in the fragrant air. I was content to sit and enjoy it. Now, the sky has gone a gray, and it will be dark in about 45 minutes or so.
I hope that he will take all of the trash. We have that exact situation here, too, and I'm trying to get it solved sooner than later.
You, too!
