The only issue there was when I took one of his best photos when younger was his fur looked brown. That's the problem with black fur it's slightly brown but you can hardly see it.
Chewy painted a photo of Charlie and used only black paint... if the artist had added some brown to the black it would have been perfect. Using only black meant no defination of parts of his body. He was just all black with a pink tongue and an orange collar.
One of the tricks I do is to try and catch him focused on the window. That gives me a great view of him from the side. I think Charlie has gotten so used to me taking pictures with my phne - he is no longer interested in what I am doing.
Also I always take 3 or 4 photos... especially when he is in action. I never plan on him posing. I just snap pics when he is standing still, running, sleeping, staring at me. I also do lots of close ups of his face.
I never plan for a photo. Instead my camera is usually in my pocket or in my hand. I grab a shot when I see one. I took photography classes in collage and my middle brother was a photographer for magazines & gave me lotsof good advice. Now that we have smart phones take photos often. Look at the ones you don't like find what is wrong and delete and try again. Practice makes better photos.
