Well, have you dogs, cats, and birds been nice this year, or do you have a touch of naughty in you? It's almost 'P' (present) day, you know. I'm making my list, and checking it twice.
I guess that I don't really expect you to incriminate yourselves, so we'll leave the tattling to your moms!
Mom's, here's the first report, to give you an idea. (*whispering* I'm really going to put them all on the 'Nice' list, but you can tell the tales anyway!)

*Ahem* Well, mostly my critters have been very good, but we've had a couple of incidents...
Earlier in the week, Dh set down a pan that I'd made beef and broccoli in, and when we turned around, guess who had his tongue in it? He's never done that before, and didn't even look guilty, because he's never been corrected about it before! How can we correct something that he's never done? To be fair, Dh should be the one on the naughty list for setting it low in an unusual place. I know, I know, it was only for a second because he was rescuing a tiny critter that got in the house, but still, if there's blame to be given...!
All of the cats have been super good...wait, there was one thing, yesterday. Uhura leaped over me, only she didn't, she landed on my stomach. Oof! I'm giving her a by, though, as she is working on adjusting to being without Mamou.
But, no negative incidents as far back as I can remember from Pierre, Henry, and Dandy. And, of course, Mamou had only been good for a very long time...
The chickens get special 'Nice' points for their behavior today. Thyri was in the yard with Ds, and when he went to look for a tool, Dh was watching her. She likes the chickens so he got some collard scraps for her to feed them.
He opened the door to the chicken run, and stood behind her...in case anyone was thinking of getting by her that close to dark...while she tossed the treats to them.
At first, she didn't toss them very far from her, until Dh showed her how, but the hens never did put their beaks on her little fingers, as chickens are wont to do. They were very gentle with her, with no grabbing.
(When Ds went back out, she told him that she had given the chickens some 'Yummy food!')
That's about all, Critter Claus!
Anyone else?
