But in the house Boy takes credit for Charlie climbing on the couch. He swears he taught him to behave. Not!!! I taught him to sit on the couch next to the window so he could look out and NOT move from there. So thanks to Boy if he's here then Charlie obeys him and sits on the couch so he can look out the front door and not sit on the Love seat where he can look up the hills to the west out the west window. ARRRGH!!!
Otherwise if he is outside then he might chase around the yard from front street side to back street side to bark at dogs or people. That is the Library room end of my home pointing south. The only window looks directly south as the fences are a mess at that end. 8-(
Otherwise if he is in the house and I spill something I say sit and he goes to my bed or the couch or loveseat or sits in my chair by the East window looking down the hill. He has choices LOLOL!
The thing is as you know the yard belongs to Charlie and with the kids and 4 dogs moving in.... I am concerned... which is why the big fence must be in first. Before the dogs get here. I am not a happy camper about this whole thing. Charlie needs to have boundries. Otherwise he is ok and people have learned to ignore him and his barking or they have taught their dogs to ignore other dogs barking.
Lately I have to say this neighborhood has been blissfully dog and people free. So People are asking why they haven't heard Charlie lately. It won't last unfortunately.
But for now... Charlie is very quiet. He has other changes but I think they are age related. That is for another post.
