He's probably helping until dark, or later if they have a light.
He sent me an email letting me know, as I woke up this morning to my phone not working.
In the photos that he sent me, the dog had no collar on, and was standing with a husky. I have no idea what the plan is for him, but he won't go in the house, so I can't even think about it, unfortunately.
So, I dug until I found one of Krypto's collars which he outgrew, a couple of leashes, and a couple of other items.
I will give her one of Krypto's tags. I can't worry about the name on it. I just want her to make it back here if she gets loose somehow. It made me realize that I don't know her name. Since she probably knows it very well, we'll use it no matter what, or maybe find one that rhymes really well, such as Betty instead of Hetty, or something like that.
My plan is to have them meet outside, she and Krypto. It's not exactly neutral territory, being his yard, but better than in the house with cats, toys, etc.
I'm going to pick up what toys I can find, and also his food and water bowl. Well, his actual water bowl. Somebody, please remind me to tell you about his new 'bowl,' I've been meaning to.
The winds were very strong, and I've seen trees down, and snapped utility poles, all over the place. The rain was hard, and we woke up this morning to snow on the ground and in the trees. Then, it began raining again, and hailing, and melted the snow. Tonight? Who knows. But, it's already 41 degrees at 7:45, so any weather is possible!
Wish us luck with the poor dog. She's really bonded to her person, and I feel awful for him, having to be without her.
Thank you for the prayers.
