The man is fine with her being here, apparently. She is an uncle of ddil's. I think he left today, since she has a home now. He has mobility problems, is a senior, and has early-ish Alzheimers, and now will be living out of his car. I think that he can go to the VA, but this is what he's chosen, for now. :-(
She, the woman, isn't. She has her own issues...'nuff said.
I'm thinking the same, name-wise. For now, though, she doesn't care what you are saying to her, other then 'come on' and the like. Nothing is penetrating. Not 'good girl' or anything else.

Some of our pet tools are here, other's are somewhere at the other house. They are not sharing dishes or combs, and I have a dog mat/bed for her, but she took over the extra large chair/recliner of Dh's. You're right though, somewhere, I have a lot of everything, just not here. It's kind of like your Mn shelter situation - frustrating. But, we're okay for now.
No, my chickens don't free-range anymore. I'm sure sorry about that poor rooster, though. :-(
You'll see in my newest post that Hira is not eating or drinking. I'm concerned. I've had dogs that don't at first, but she seems dehydrated.
Well, gotta' go, Dh just dropped off a bag of food. I'm hoping that another food will get her to eat, and where kibble is eaten, water is drunk. Be back in a bit.
