been with Chance for so long. But he is rabid at barking at dogs and cats. But also people walking up and down the street. Though it seems he's not reacting to all people. But deer are auto bark alarms. Charlie knows when A and Flinn, his golden poodle, are due to arrive on Friday, and don't ask how he knows it Friday. Charlie starts running along the chain link betweens A's yard and ours. How does a dog tell if it's fri? It's almost 100% of the time that they arrive Fri evening after dark. Mind boggling! Charlie sniffs out our yard every time we go for a walk. I think (?) the "guy's" black cat has learned not to be in our yard. J&W's long haired orange male has finaly opted for their yard and never ours. I HOPE! The deer haven't been around in A's yard - their usualy snacking yard. I think but haven't seen them gathering in the wooded property at the end of our street. Someone owns it and its a great wooded area. I know that J&W leave their meal leftovers in the woods to feed them. It is against the rules but they do it anyway. This whole pennisula is a Deer Preserve. Yep, I live in a preserve. The deer just aren't going onto A's property like they used to. Unless it's at night. But Charlie would bark if they did. I haven't seen any for months. But Charlie keeps looking for them. Hoping to make an appointment to the vet next week. One of the women I have become close to will take us to his appointment. I will call on Monday after I know what days she can't take us. Bless their hearts - these women & men are wonderful people. Well have to have breakfast before going to play "Cards." Its that new game. I think I'm getting it. Have a great day. |
