Do your dogs pay attention to bugs, small birds, other dogs or cats, wild animals like squirrels or deer?
And, if so, do they react differently depending on where they are, such as in the house, or your yard? What about walks?
Mine pay attention to bugs only if they get close to them outside, but always if there's one in the house. I mentioned that Hira will eat bees...several if there are that many; and she's quick!
Mostly no on small birds, though Krypto watches the hummingbirds out the window. He has a tote to put his front paws on there (on purpose, because it's better than him trying to look out with his feet on the window ledge, and it's the only place that he can look and smell out of an open window.), and if he hears them, and isn't doing anything else, he will watch them.
Animals - always for Krypto. Not sure about Hira as yet. He doesn't let anything be close by without noticing and/or barking at it. Foxes, deer, squirrels, skunks, and, of course, his enemy - bears. He really hates bears.
With his super sniffer, he notices whether he's outside or in the house, and whether it's daytime, or dark.
