He was in such a hurry to get home and tugged me all the way to the car. Once in the car he settled down more or less. But when I got the gate open and let him out of the car I knew he was so happy to be home. Drugged as he still was. He walked not ran to the front door, stood patiently till I got it open then he walked slowly inside and went directly to my bedroom and climbed on to the bed and fell asleep.
Poor Baby, I can't give him pain pills till 12 hours have passed. I will post what they are later.
He is very subdued.... ok here is what is wrong with him. His right hip ball is flattened. But the socket works. He also has arthritis of his hip. WHen I saw Charlie sorta stumble that day it was then his ball socket collapsed. He kept walking with a limp. Which went away after a few days. He kept running for a few days then slowed down. It took a few weeks before his attitude changed. So he is on meds... 2 very strong ones and an pet Glucosamine made of veggies.
It's possible this is a repeat post. I've been really stressed all day waiting for the Vets verdict.
Well that should do it for now. Charlie has done his business twice and walked slowly outside a couple of times.
I think I am as exhausted as he is to tell the truth. He's sacked out on my bed which I have to help him climb on to. Poor Charlie doesn't understand whats going on. Ocassionally he drools but he did eat a tablespoon of canned food. He also gets down to get some water once an hour.
Well my Charlie is home. Now to help him get back onhis feet so to speak.
Thanks for all the prayers. I truly appreciated the results.
