I am glad that you have an answer, and now he can be treated.
I used to give glucosamine to Beyorne, when he had a similar problem, along with chondroitin and MSM, I think. He couldn't stand until taking those, then got so much better.
Yes, if you could let us know any other meds that he's taking, that would be great, thanks.
It's a shame that they don't routinely do hip replacements and such for dogs, the way that they do for humans these days. But, it sounds like with meds, and care with regards to jumping and such, he will be feeling much better.
I am sure that this has been a stressful day for you! Whew. Our pets can really give us gray hairs! Remember, I got 1,000 new ones :-) when my 2 got out the other day, sheesh!
