Last night I was adding water to Solis water bowl as I went to grab it off the table - a cat ran into the hallway. I was shocked speechless and felt sure I was hallucinating. Honest to God I was stunned because it was KITTY! I ran into the hall but Kitty had vanished and must have gone into DD's room - which is full of boxes for recycling. It's a mess to say the least. I will be looking for her bolt hole today. She may be under DD's bed. There isn't any where else for her to hide. If you are shocked imagine how I felt. This was wonderful and awful at the same time. For I so happy Kitty has not dead. But a kitty was under the house. I had been trying to get it out since Wednesday afternoon. It was Friday afternoon I finally gave up when I think it died. I have never had such an awful experience. That the poor creature is not Kitty doen't alleviate the pain I have been feeling all week. I am still horribly sad for I bonded with the kitty under the house. It responded to me so often and I knew it was in pain. Boy and I will work to remove the siding to find the poor dear thing so I can bury it in out Pet cemetary. Prayers for the Kitty that died. Prayers of thankfullness that my Kitty is alive and well. I am still very shocked by the entire event. But now the question is where did the kitty under the house come from? What a horrid week it has been, and even with my Kitty alive and scared - I am still horrified over the death of the kitty I failed to save. Prayers please that my son and I are able to find the dead Kitty's body. We won't take the sidding off until it cools down. It won't be easy to locate. But I am determined. Thank you for your prayers. |
