Today it's mostly been 109-113, but at the moment it's 115. Ds argues with me, saying that it's a few degrees cooler where he is, but I have no shade in my yard anymore, so my temperatures are correct for my unshaded yard.
Anyway, Krypto went under the couch to his shoulders to try to get cool - in other words, just his head was underneath it, lol! And, he's doing pretty well.
However, Hira was on the couch, as she often is during the day, and she began panting heavily. I wasn't expecting that, as they haven't been out for a while. Then again, it's hot in the house, too.
So, we wet her head and ears, and her 'arm pits', sent her off of the couch, and put a table fan on the floor near her bed.
The last I looked, she was lying 1' from the fan.
I need to make them an ice block for their water bucket. The water doesn't stay cool in these temperatures for long.
Whew, it's hot. It's supposed to cool down a little after the 4th here. I hope that's true for anyone else having heat.
