He has matured so is not oveweight just healthy.
He now gets his Glocosomine, and his 2 pain pills every am but at night only the pain pills.

He runs no matter what I do. I can't have him on his leash as I get pulled over. My MS and my neck really causes problems when he yanks his leash. I have to let go.

I have managed to work out a schedule so that their Mama dog has timein the yard alone. SO that Charlie has the same.

I am hoping the fence cover really blocks of his ability to see her. He can hear the puppies and still checks them out to make sure they are oK.
Weird.

They are not causing any trouble. Charlie and Honey have barking spats.. and try to call him off. It is getting less and less a problem.

Though their yellow cat was under the trailer ad Charlie almost got him. I have told them their male cat comes into my yard and under my house. But no response from them.

Kitty is doing really well but hs discovered that I split a can of cat food between Soli and her twice a day. Anything not eaten if I catch it quick enough goes in the fridge.

But Kitty is now a nag when she is hungry. AM & PM. Still all 3 are enjoying having the house more or less to themselves. Kitty gets the library and DD's bedroom - now used for storage such as my bamboo that will now end up onthe driveway gates.

Soli sneaks into my bedroom so Charlie will chase him out if he come sin too often. Other wise Soli has the living room, kitchen and dining room.

Charlie gets the the rest of the house except the library where Kittys food is. I block it off with a drying rack.

We all seem content except me. Too much on my mind. The temps are dropping a wee bit. Mornings are cooler and refreshing... the rst of the day is eh!

Ok off to have some dinner. Simple I think tomato soup will do the trick.

Take care... tomorrow if the neighbors are gone - but I think their family is coming over instead. That will drive Charlie crazy. Oh well.

Happy Labor day. I always fly my flag on the main holidays. Or ones that are special for family and friends.

Hope this craziness goes away though I doubt it. Times they are achanging,,, unfortunately.
