I'm not sure if Kroger sells small portions of turkey. Like legs or wings. Probably not!
I have yams and cranberries. No sweets unless I buy a small ice cream. Mint Choc chips is my fave.
There is a Turkey dinner with all the fixings at the Community Center. I may go to that. I will order coleslaw for sandwiches of course and have mostly veggies.
My bread it now always multigrain. But I am eatng more eggs.... fried, omlet, hardboiled. Charlie and I share - he even gets some of the cheese.
As for desserts - sugar free ice cream.... I do need milk. But no pies but strawberries, grapes, and so on.
I am gaining slowly which is a good thing.
I also drink a fair amount of sparking water, sugar free of course. Kroger has Black Cherry and Lemon lime bottles. Love them.
I love cooking again. It took a while to get back into the recipes. But I'm enjoying it very much.
Well, I just had bacon and peanut butter I sandwich on Multigrain toast with strawberries as a side. I also have green grapes for later. I also bought a quart of Iime Juice. Pretty good actually. 8-)
Well I have lots of work to do around this place. I expect bird seed today from Chewy - 3#'s for I ran out of it. Plus Monday I will receive 20lbs of wild bird seed. Whew! I hate running out of seed.
My AZ order will arrive Mon. Lots of house hold stuff. Sheesh! Running out of kleenex is a disaster. 8-)
Well off to balance my checkbook. I paid all my bills including my taxes - which were less thanks to the governor who cut them back. What a gift that was.
I have to say that Kroger is the best thing along with my terrific Trash gu,y who does recycling as well. He is also a wealth of information for he builds homes and shares his methods.
The Community Center is awesome... I know a number of the women and their husbands. I have now been in touch with a few organizations that are helping fix some of my serious problems in the house.
Humanna has upgraded my insurance to an awesome program for seniors. Plus there are any number of other small programs such as transport programs. Plus my new GP is awesome. Compared to my previous Dr... who a number of men & women from the CCtr also had... have moved to other Drs. Her practice seems to not be as good as it was. A nuber of us having moced to new drs feel sorry for her.
Well, So many changes here. Including when Charlie can be out in HIS yard per the nighbor next door. Thank goodness I had the second LARGE kennel it is off the back steps and is a large L shaped so that we can play ball when the neighbors do not want Charlie out in his yard as he barks at the puppies. There are only two puppies left in their yard. So I let CHarlie out with me at 6am. Now until 6pm we will playball in the kennel. Then he gets to run his yard after that in the dark! Thankfully we are only limited on weekends and holidays. Still ARRRGH!!! It is his yard and I am trying to be a neighborly as I can. 8-(

The kids had the 2nd kennel and brought it back for Charlie. Thank goodness. It works perfectly
