"Uh-huh," The prisoner said flatly, "I'm not impressed one bit. Try harder!"
"Your wish is my command," Irzen answered undaunted.
Sergeant Talos blinked, "A game? What? We need to get information out of this person about the relic."
"Patience, grasshopper, patience," Irzen replied in a calm soothing voice, "There is method to my madness."
"Fine." Sergeant Talos crossed his arms in a huff.
The Swordsman turned back to the prisoner, "As I said before, the name of the game is called The Truth! For ten minutes, you and I are going to be completely honest with each other. I will ask you a question. Then you will give me an honest answer. Afterwards, you can ask me a question and then I will give you an honest answer. If you refuse to answer my question or lie to me, then Neven is going to introduce you to The Void for a duration of no longer than one minute. So are you ready to play my game?"
Rolling his eyes in disgust, the prisoner relented, "I'll play your game but you're not gonna like my responses, dark elf."
"We shall see," Irzen clapped his hands before he rubbed them together, "Okay, let's start with an easy one. What is your name, better yet, what is your true name?"
The prisoner leaned back on the stone bench against the wall, "Yohan, son of Drager of Asylum."
Sergeant Talos blinked in surprise. Drager was a wealthy merchant in Asylum. His trade was fine silks and rare spices grown and made here only in Asylum. Granted not everyone felt they were getting a good honest deal from Drager, however, his wares were legit.
