Madame Mabel walked up the bar and requested a round of drinks for everyone. Seri looked around and picked a medium table to the left to claim and sat down.
Irzen, Neven and Willow joined Seri at the table she claimed and waited for their drinks.
Serna joined Madame Mabel at the bar, spotted Mertul and then asked her a simple question, "Um, Miss Mertul, do you have a minute? There is something that I would like to ask you."
The dwarven woman climbed on a crate behind the bar. She smiled at the shield maiden, "Welcome back, young lady. And what is your question?"
"I heard that you don't like fairies," Serna began, "I even heard that your Beholder once almost ate one of them. Why don't you like fairies?"
The dwarven woman raised an eye brow at the child, "Magic brings trouble. This place to feed, entertain and let people sleep hence the sign behind me. No Magic Allowed. Two, you obviously haven't had and or heard of the bad blood between dwarves and elves. That includes the fae. The old magic is scary stuff. Just leave it be. Perhaps you should ask him yourself, young one."
The White Beholder floated out into the room and behind the bar, "Well, well, well, if isn't the Disturber of the Peace. Harharhar! Fairies taste really good and they're nice and juicy!"
Caliaphy didn't move a muscle. She was literally mortified when the beholder came out.
