"No problem," Serna replied as she prepared to walk literally in Arlhenwe's footsteps, "Lead the way and I will follow."
Even Caliaphy followed in the loremaster's footsteps after the shield maiden without saying one word after noticing a series of holes on the walls on both sides of the room. Once across, she breathed a sigh of relief, "Phew! That went rather well, do you think, Serna?"
"We're still alive and we're still in one piece," Serna checked herself to make sure her words were true, "So yeah, I think it went well."
Arlhenwe nodded, "Agreed. You did well, Serna but our journey is far from over. Come along."
"Okay," The Shield Maiden followed along eager to complete their mission and get the heck out of there.
The next challenge portrayed a series of statues on movable pedestals in a square containing nine smaller squares. The loremaster could see a stone at the far end of the chamber and then looked back at the girl, "Serna, you said you were good at solving puzzles? This is a puzzle in which one must light up all the stones of each statue simultaneously in order for the barrier on the opposite side to open, are you up for the challenge?"
"Sure," Serna grinned from ear to ear as she studied the scene before her, "How do you want to go about doing it?"
"The statues are of the founder of the kingdom of Northaven, Prince Willow's ancestor, Alauthshae. She was a very independent and fierce warrior who fought and died for the very ground we are on now." Arlhenwe described the history of the royal family to the shield maiden.
"Didn't you say, you were good at solving puzzles, Serna?" Caliaphy crossed her arms, "It's a match puzzle, you have figure it out."
