"I think she's already there," Serna concluded as she held her shield close.
The kurori fluttered about anxiously, "Bad Form? Hey I didn't even know Eilionwy could do that. Arlhenwe is right, Eilionwy is pretending to be a dragon."
"If she's pretending to be a dragon," Serna quipped, "Then she's doing one hell of a job of pretending. So, what do we do now?"
The loremaster gave the shield maiden a hard stare, "We will go up on the wall and help the others now."
"EEEP!" Serna jumped when The Loremaster gave her a hard stare, "What?! What did I do?"
"Stay close and pay attention, Serna." Arlhenwe sighed as she motioned the two of them to follow her.
Caliaphy gasped at Serna, "Hey, no swearing! Let the grownups do that, sheesh, you're a kid!"
"All I did was say the word 'hell'" Serna replied in a small voice as she felt cornered between the Elf Maiden and the Fairy, "Neven would say far worse than that and no one paid him any mind."
"The thief was also older than you, silly." The kurori sprinkled fairy dust on the shield maiden, "You're alright by me, Serna. Come on, lets go and help out, Prince Willow now."
"Hey! Why did you sprinkle fairy dust on me?" Serna asked Caliaphy with great suspicion.
Caliaphy grinned, "Because I wanted to that's why."
Arlhenwe ushered the two of them to the wall where the ranger was shooting orcs from the top of the wall. "Watch your step, Serna."
"Okay!" Serna carefully watched where she was walking as the trio made their way to the top of the wall.
The three of them carefully made their way up the damaged stairway that ran from the ground level to the top area. The view was both breath taking and terrible to behold for them. The main battle took place down in the open fields was a mix of both ally and enemy. The clashing of swords and shields clanged throughout between battle cries and death screams echoing everywhere.
"Aww...geez!" Caliaphy exclaimed from the sight of the carnage below, "When the Torque attacked Asylum thirty years ago is wasn't like this."
The loremaster looked around and spotted the ranger firing arrows at the orcs below. Arlhenwe raised her staff up and brought it down upon the stone wall, a magical healing aura spread out in a three hundred sixty degree radius healing those who had minor injuries and giving hope to those on the edge of loosing hope.
