Only Caliaphy clapped at the end of the song, "That was AWESOME!"
Serna was practically out of breath from all of the dancing and singing but she smiled, "That was fun! Do you know any more songs, Scribe?"
"Not bad, Scribe, not bad," Irzen reluctantly muttered under his breath.
Alyson gave War Scribe a nod but said nothing, while Lazheros and Mandur gave the Chronicler a deadpan stare.
One of Mandur's lieutenants admitted, "You know sir, that tune is rather catchy."
"OH! I feel another song coming on," War Scribe smiled as she pointed directly at Mandur and his lieutenants, "And it tailor made just for you!"
The Chronicler began to march along and encouraged both Serna and Caliaphy to follow as she sang these words.
Well, we dig dig dig
Well, we dig in our mine the whole day through
Dig dig dig, that is what we like to do
And it ain't no trick to get rich quick
If you dig dig dig, with a shovel and a pick
Dig dig dig, the whole day through
Got to dig dig dig, it's what we like to do in our mine, in our mine
Where a million diamonds shine
We got to dig dig dig, from the morning till the night
Dig dig dig up everything in sight
We got to dig dig dig, in our mine, in our mine
Dig up diamonds by the score
A thousand rubies, sometimes more
But we don't know what we are diggin' for, yeah
"And now for the chorus!" War Scribe screeched with glee, "Sing along and let the music move you!"
Heigh-ho, heigh-ho
It's off to work we go
We keep on singing all day long
Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, heigh-ho
Got to make your troubles go
Well, you keep on singing all day long
Heigh-ho
Heigh-ho, heigh-ho
"Well, what do you think?" The Drowling dropped to one knee and held out her hands, "Is that song right up your alley or what?"
Mandur finally gave in when he tapped his weapon pommel, "Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho! I admit, that one is a fine song to remember!"
"I knew you would like it!" War Scribe beamed from ear to ear.
"That was pretty neat!" Serna smiled after listening to the song.
The Bronze Man rolled his eyes despite his best nature to keep a straight face as he snapped his fingers and everything within a twenty foot radius of the chronicler went silent. He also reached over and grabbed the reins of Alyson's mount before she could react ushering both their mounts out of the circle of silence where he could hear himself think.
When War Scribe's voice went silent, she held up her hands and looked around. When she realized that Lazheros and Alyson were pulling away from her, the Drowling knew what happened, opened up her book and began to write in it with her quill pen.
Initially unnerved by the sudden zone of silence, Irzen settle down and rode onward thankful for the fact that he did not have to listen to War Scribe's screeching--at least for now.
Alyson held on fast as her mount was jerked away from the singing Chronicler, "Huh??"
"I thought she'd never stop," He eyed the chronicler warily, "Her singing is atrocious and giving me a headache, Alyson. There's no rhyme or reason behind it other than her irritating The Seelie King."
Caliaphy also couldn't hear War Scribe sing anymore and gave the drowling an odd look trying to figure out what just happened. She poked the Shield Maiden, "Hey...Serna, can you hear me??"
Serna turned toward Caliaphy with a look of sheer disbelief on her face and mouthed out these words, "What are you saying? Can you hear me? I can't hear you or anybody. What is going on?"
When War Scribe was finished writing in her tome, she promptly skipped over to Lazheros and Alyson, opened her book and turned it towards The Grand Cleric. These words were written inside:
"I know you cast 'Silence' on me. And I know why you did it. You did it because you felt left out. I had a song for everyone here except you. Well, now I have a song for you. Read it and enjoy!"
War Scribe turned the page of her tome and on the following page were the words to another Disney song.
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Little Jackie paper loved that rascal puff
And brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff oh
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched on puff's gigantic tail
Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came
Pirate ships would lower their flag when puff roared out his name oh
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant rings make way for other toys
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar
His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain
Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane
Without his life-long friend, puff could not be brave
So Puff that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave oh
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
"Well, what do you think?" War Scribe mouthed these words with a sly grin on her face.
