Heigh-ho, heigh-ho
"Well, what do you think?" The Drowling dropped to one knee and held out her hands, "Is that song right up your alley or what?"
Mandur finally gave in when he tapped his weapon pommel, "Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho! I admit, that one is a fine song to remember!"
"I knew you would like it!" War Scribe beamed from ear to ear.
"That was pretty neat!" Serna smiled after listening to the song.
The Bronze Man rolled his eyes despite his best nature to keep a straight face as he snapped his fingers and everything within a twenty foot radius of the chronicler went silent. He also reached over and grabbed the reins of Alyson's mount before she could react ushering both their mounts out of the circle of silence where he could hear himself think.
When War Scribe's voice went silent, she held up her hands and looked around. When she realized that Lazheros and Alyson were pulling away from her, the Drowling knew what happened, opened up her book and began to write in it with her quill pen.
Initially unnerved by the sudden zone of silence, Irzen settled down and rode onward thankful for the fact that he did not have to listen to War Scribe's screeching--at least for now.
Alyson held on fast as her mount was jerked away from the singing Chronicler, "Huh??"
"I thought she'd never stop," He eyed the chronicler warily, "Her singing is atrocious and giving me a headache, Alyson. There's no rhyme or reason behind it other than her irritating The Seelie King."
Caliaphy also couldn't hear War Scribe sing anymore and gave the drowling an odd look trying to figure out what just happened. She poked the Shield Maiden, "Hey...Serna, can you hear me??"
Serna turned toward Caliaphy with a look of sheer disbelief on her face and mouthed out these words, "What are you saying? Can you hear me? I can't hear you or anybody. What is going on?"
When War Scribe was finished writing in her tome, she promptly skipped over to Lazheros and Alyson, opened her book and turned it towards The Grand Cleric. These words were written inside:
"I know you cast 'Silence' on me. And I know why you did it. You did it because you felt left out. I had a song for everyone here except you. Well, now I have a song for you. Read it and enjoy!"
War Scribe turned the page of her tome and on the following page were the words to another Disney song.
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Little Jackie paper loved that rascal puff
And brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff oh
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched on puff's gigantic tail
Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came
Pirate ships would lower their flag when puff roared out his name oh
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant rings make way for other toys
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar
His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain
Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane
Without his life-long friend, puff could not be brave
So Puff that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave oh
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honahlee
"Well, what do you think?" War Scribe mouthed these words with a sly grin on her face.
He wasn't impressed. Lazheros gave her a blank face instead of what War Scibe wanted.
War Scribe returned Lazheros blank stare with an even larger smile than her sly grin.
The elementalist glared at the Chronicler this time as the wind suddenly picked War Scribe high up into the sky and sling-shotted her to the far side of the Southern Valley taking the cone of Silence with her.
Wordlessly War Scribe went flying through the air and disappeared completely from view.
Caliaphy just stared at the spot where War Scribe once stood, "Huh?"
"Hey! I can hear myself speak now." Serna smiled and then turned to where The Chronicler had been standing, "What happened to War Scribe?"
The Bronze Man grumbled, "Your answer will be a short lived one, Alyson, and as much as I would like not to see that pest again, Puck's spell will not let her die as she intends."
"I beg to differ, Lazheros," Irzen brought his mount to a full stop and looked back at the Elementalist and the Grand Cleric, "Remember what Puck said and I quote 'Since you insist on staying in this current abhorrent state, you shall remain as a Mousekteer surrounded by the images of giggling children from the Mickey Mouse club until further notice, well at least until the next full moon and that's ten days from now. Tootle-loo!' To undo what Puck has done, all War Scribe has to do is change back to her original form." The Swordsman pondered for a minute, "Now whether she is going to do that before or after she hits the ground at 90 miles an hour remains to be seen."
Mandur snapped out of his trance as did his men, "Oy! That was...ah..odd at best, Grand Cleric."
