I never watched the final season of- house of cards. Over the last couple weeks ive rewatched the series. I think my disgust with Kevin Spacey clouded my memory of the series, how well written, creepy & criminal it all is.

Now, in rewatching. I have to wonder. Was donald trump inspired by the Frank Underwood rise to power/ presidency. Theres a lot of action from F.U. that sure seems- "trumpian".

For sure- Claire Underwood bares zero similarity to Melania. But Dam! Francis & The Donald are the same dude.

That said. I agree with you. The medicaid cuts are pretty much assured. But theres a difference, for the moment. Right now. Maga Medicaid recipents still have healthcare. I don't expect them to bail on Maga until the day the get a full- no insurance- bill from the doctor. I doubt Faux News, "x", and Newsmax are going to sound the alarm ahead of Medicaids demise. Possibly they wont report it when the actual moment comes.
