Savior? Gosh no, but we need a veteran QB in the room. JJ is only 22, never played in a real NFL game, coming off a knee injury and was known more as a game manager at Michigan, who could make the tough pass when needed. He's going to need to be in the ear of someone other than our QB coach. And like you said, Flacco can fill in here and there with good results. I was actually hoping we'd sign someone like Flacco AND Mac Jones or Drew Lock and let all 4 QBs play it out in OTAs and training camp. Competition is great for everyone. |
