Curling is both drama filled as well as an extremely competive SKILLS REQUIRED athletic competition. Curling introduced a mixed double event in the last couple olympics. It showed to me anyway. Men & women are pretty much equal on the curling rink.

I would absolutely love to see some college girl rise up the ranks and make an mlb roster as a starting pitcher, shutdown closer.
Right now, girls are shutout of the competition post little league. Instead funneled into softball. Thats great in & of itself. I find it difficult to buy into it. Understanding the physics of pitching. That there arent a handful of girls, right now. Today. With the right physique to become a mlb pitcher if they were given the opportunity. It only takes long limbs, long fingers & elastic tendons.

When i was in highschool. There was a gal on the girls volleyball team. Felicia France. My bf Heff & I hung out with 6'5" Felicia a couple summers. We got her to pitch. Jeff was one of the best pitchers in our town. Had some elite training going to pro camps that the oakland A's sponsored for little leaguers. He learned a curve grip from catfish hunter. Body pitching mechanics from rollie fingers. Ken Holtzman was another guy there and catcher Dave Duncan. I learned second hand from jeff but my stubby saysage fingers werent made for pitching. I also have double jointed thumbs that work against my ability to throw. Felicia on the other hand. By the end of that 1st summer, she was striking me out regularly. I gotta say. She was just as hard to square up as jeff was, and that dudes curve ball. when he pitched a good one. There wasnt a player in town that could hit it. In high school he hung too many kinda ruined his trajectory and he became a rick & roll drummer and future homeless addict. Felicia went to one of the south state colleges. Poly? Northridge? On a volleyball acholarship. I think tho. Always have. That girl coulda been an mlb pitcher.

Mlb needs something. Something to bump its excitement. Theres games on right now I could be watching. Meh- why?
