I doubt it.

After the '24 season. Even before the draft. The team looked to be in trouble. 3 years of blown drafts creates issues.

The bonehead move was made when they originally signed Darnold and could have likely inserted option year language.

Now... Does any of it make any difference?

Even after the team was eliminated. Fans showed up in droves. Most of the owners? That is priority 1. Sellouts, Swag, game Snacks & lots of Cup 'O Suds.. ring that cash register!

No doubt, the wilfs view 2025 as a success. Packed the house every week & theres already buzz a-bubblin & a-buildin for '26.
