We could give him big per win incentives, sizeable workout bonuses and heck I'd even give him a full not trade and no tag clauses. This way he's guaranteed to be here the whole year and not be shipped out at the trade deadline. Then he can bet on himself in 2026 and set himself up as a free agent for 2027. He'd get to throw to JJ and Addison. Not sure why he'd turn this down. I really like the fact that KOC and BF will get to put their stamp on this team in 2026. I respect each coach enough to let them have sizeable input on what players to draft/sign/release.
