TC was one of the worst teams in MLB vs lefties the past multiple seasons... And this with the organizations own failed young superstar failure, Royce Lewis, already on the IL awaiting knee surgery.

Every pundit I read that had anything positive to say about the '26 Twins. All said the season hinged on Buxton repeating his '25 silver slugger campaign coupled with Royce Lewis having a career year & avoiding injury.
Lewis is hurt. Buxton is homeless & hitting sub .200.
The pundits also mentioned. The young prospects down in triple A St. Paul would need to grow up fast & be contributors.

Instead. It is the castoff collection of failed journeymen caring the team.
The Island of misfit toys. Having a moment... That could go either way. 162 is a very very long haul to suddenly find a piece of lightening hardened oak, and perform Wonderboy style theater. Plays great in the movies.... In real time?
The absurdity of it all is best explained as a moment when the Lord himself suddenly decided to become a baseball fan. And chose Minnesota Nice as the nearest thing to Christian he could find in MLB.

Like I said... ABSURD!
