Melton?

Wow.
I watched most of that game.
Teams should have been trying to trade for him instead of Mize/ skubal.

I had reasonable confidence today, when I saw Melton had taken Mize turn in rotation. I was reasonably confident the tigers would hit emerson well.

The big question is that Sunday game at SF.

Melton vs Logan Webb.
When Webb is on? He's stingy with hitters.
The youngsters called up to fill holes post SF trades? If Melton is pitching like he did today?
It should be a w?

The sunday game is the one I was more concerned with. SF plays tough at home. Especially on Sundays.
However, 3 of the giants key bats were traded at the deadline. Should be an interesting series.

I was very impressed with Melton Tuesday!
Conversely- Joe Ryan? Wth. That dude is scuffling bad. It's ironic that former TC bush league find, Randy Dobnak, cast off and out of the bigs. Has now beaten Ryan in back to back starts.

Tc gave up on him too soon. Dobnak looked unhittable with his nasty slider in both starts.
