If there's not going to be a relegation system. Then do it the way it was done for a century. 2 leagues. Top 2 make the world series. No playoffs. It makes the 162 ( I think it was 156 before division) game season meaningful. With 14 teams making the playoffs? What is the point of 162 game season? To create injury? It really serves no other purpose.

Ok... You want playoffs? Fine. Top 4 make the playoffs in each league. 1 vs 4 & 2 vs 3. The wildcard round? Idk that it serves any purpose other than to cause more injury.

I'd think most ppl are like me. I want to see the best teams. Healthy. Playing at their best. Last year? What was it the dodgers used? 25? 30? 50? Pitchers from game 1 to the WS finale.

I went & looked it up. The dodgers used 40 different pitchers in 2025.

That's ridiculous. I bet the Yankees of the 20's. One of the most dominant decades in MLB history? Didn't use 40 different pitchers in the entirety of those 10 years.
