I figured Talarico would win but I didn't think it would be in a landslide. People here got to watch Paxson get impeached by his own party, cheat on his wife and then divorce her, get investigated by the FBI on two separate occasions and then just plain corrupt actions. Somehow he owns at least 15 homes. All accumulated while in office. People are just tired of the obvious corruption and rule breaking. And what I just typed wasn't from a Talarico ad, we watched it on the news over the past couple years. Trump did this to his party. He said "pretend I'm on the ballot". And people did just that.

Paxson is Attorney General here. He beat John Cornyn in the primary. Cornyn is well respected and has been a Senator for many years. If Cornyn wins the primary, he beats Talarico. But Trump made sure Paxson won. Thank you Don.

But I am shocked that Abbott didn't get re-elected for Governor. That one surprised me. The TV station I was watching said that by looking at the numbers, there were a lot of voters who didn't vote for Paxson but voted for Abbott. Not surprising. Again, Paxson is a weasel.

Hoping the Dems can take advantage of this opportunity, but I"m guessing they'll find a way to Viking this into a meltdown of some sort.
